Our Omega 3 capsules contain 640 mg EPA and 400 mg DHA from fish oil and have no unpleasant fish taste due to the special gelatine capsule.

Omega-3 fatty acids have numerous health-promoting effects. They are important for metabolism, keep cell membranes supple, strengthen the immune system and inhibit inflammation. In food, they can be found in fish, algae, nuts and seeds – unfortunately all products that many people eat too little. There are three types of omega-3 fatty acids: ALA, EPA, and DHA. ALA is found in plant-based foods such as flaxseed, walnuts, and hemp oil, but unfortunately it’s not that important. The important EPA and DHA are mainly found in fatty fish such as salmon, herring and mackerel. Another problem is the ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 fatty acids in the diet, usually the omega-6 fatty acids are contained in excess. Omega-6-rich foods such as factory farmed meat and vegetable oils in processed foods should be reduced to improve the balance between omega-6 and omega-3. Omega-3 from plant sources is usually not enough to meet the need, so consuming fish and seaweed is advisable. Our capsules are in the perfect dosage of EPA and DPA.
